COVID-19 Family Letter

March 8, 2021

Residents, Families and Partners:

We wanted to provide you another update regarding COVID in our Community.

In our most recent staff and resident mass testing on February 24, we again had zero new positive cases.  We have been deemed “outbreak free” by the health department, and we are moving back to random weekly testing of 25% of staff.

Since our last update, we had our third vaccination clinic will be on 2/24/2021 for those residents or staff members that missed their opportunity to be vaccinated.  We do not yet know if there will be any future on-site vaccination clinics.  If we have new residents or current residents who were unable to be fully vaccinated, we will work, as needed with the resident and their primary care provider to seek ways for the resident to be vaccinated if they choose to do so.

Outdoor visitation continues.  If you would like an appointment, please contact the Community. The restrictions outlined in our previous update regarding group activities and visitation will continue.  We will let you know our “outbreak free” status changes any of our current restrictions.

Even with our negative test results, we continue to monitor all residents for signs and symptoms of the virus or any other change in condition and will contact residents’ responsible parties and primary healthcare providers if any change is noted and to discuss next steps.

Please continue to reach out with questions, concerns, or requests for assistance.

Respectfully,

Joanna Enriquez

Executive Director

COVID-19 News

February 4, 2021

Residents, Families and Partners:

Even though we have started the roll out of the vaccine process in our country, state and Community, COVID-19 is and will be an on-going concern throughout this year.  We were informed that one of our employees tested positive for the virus.  This employee had tested negative in previous random testing that we have been doing but was tested again after being exposed to a positive individual outside of work.

This staff member is currently quarantining at home and their return-to-work date will be determined following local health department and CDC guidance. Read more
